The “Clear the Bookshelf” project is on haitus due to a bumpercrop of library books coming to my inbox. The first of these is Dear Child by German author Romy Hausmann. You can’t help but fall right into this thriller. “A windowless shack in the woods. A dash to safety. There were a few holes and I would have liked a little more information on a few things, but overall, it was a nailbiter in the best way.
