I am usually highly amused by Alexandra Petri’s column, especially one of her latest about the Democratic National Convention’s Roll Call. And, she went to my high school (two books by fellow alums this summer!). Her book of essays, Nothing is Wrong and Here is Why, however, was too much for me. Essays are not my first choice to start with, and I didn’t find these particularly funny. Sadly, therefore, this one fell flat for me. Sad trombone. I didn’t even finish, I’m sorry to report.
