The Wife by Alifair Burke was OK, but not great. Angela has secrets, including the paternity of her son, when she meets Jason Powell, the seemingly perfect husband. But, of course, he is not as he seems to be either. As his life unravels, she fears that hers will too. This was certainly a page-turner, but perhaps because I have read some better books lately, it wasn’t a favorite.
