Wow. All I can say upon the quick completion of this “fable” is wow. What a powerful little story. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas has been on my to read list for a long time. It’s so short, I am not sure why I hadn’t read it before. I didn’t realize until I picked it up at the library that it was YA. What a powerful book to have students read as they are studying the Holocaust. I highly recommend this somber and thoughtful little story.
